The UnitingCare Family Resource Centre has been operating for over eighteen years thanks to ongoing funding from the State Government, Health & Human Services Department.
It employs a Library Officer, Administrative Support, and has access to Family Support Workers and Couples Mediators.
The Family Resource Centre (FRC) operates a free lending library with up-to-the-minute books and resources on a wide range of family and parenting matters. It also serves as a central access and referral point for finding out about other services.
The FRC also prints a Family Support Guide in hard copy every two years. This informs the community about other services available in this area and where to find them. It is through the FRC that we offer training and support in parenting courses, information to families irrespective of any differences or uniqueness, or we can arrange one-to-one meetings with our parenting consultants.
